ACCOMMODATION

There are a couple of options

Please see The Plan for what we have on for the weekend as this may help you make a decision about where to stay.

Suggested accommodation options below.

  • Cheap! Onsite! Preferred option!

  • BYO tent/caravan/camper trailer and stay at the venue

  • $25 per person, per night

  • You are welcome to stay Friday and Saturday nights (see The Plan for further info)

  • Unpowered sites (it’s a cricket oval)

  • Toilets and showers in The Pavillion next to to the camping area

  • There’ll be somewhere for people to get ready (e.g., plug in hairdryers, etc.)

OPTION 1: CAMPING

  • Also onsite but more expensive, $360 per tent for two people for two nights (Friday and Saturday)

  • Somebody comes and sets up a fancy tent with a bed and a proper floor for you

  • Flat rate for one or two nights unfortunately, apparently the cost is the labour of setting up the tents so there’s no one-night option

  • These actually look really nice

  • Queen or single beds

  • More info to come if people are keen on this option

OPTION 2: GLAMPING

  • Seymour is a town 10 minutes away from the venue and a good option for non-campers

  • These two motels (about $200 per night per room) have decent reviews, have said they have some availability that weekend, and can do an early check-in on Saturday if needed (but confirm this with them when you book):

    • New Crossing Place Motel and Apartments - book here

    • Comfort Inn Coach and Bushmans - book here

  • We’ll provide a bus from Seymour to the venue and back again, probably from the motels above (which are across the road from each other) if a few people book there

  • These motels are also near the The Prince, where we’re having dinner on the Friday night (see The Plan)

  • We’re also happy to do a bus stop at Blue Tongue Berries which have five off-grid cabins that all appear to be available that weekend, which you can book on AirBnb

  • The current plan is bus from Seymour at around 2pm, then a couple of options for the return journey (e.g., 11pm and 1am TBC)

  • There are also some larger farm stay houses on AirBnb in the area, but you’ll need to get your own way to and from the venue

  • Taxis/Ubers and limited in the area the venue said it’s best to pre-book transport if you’re staying offsite

OPTION 3: SEYMOUR
